Sherwin Dixon, 86, of Hixson, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017.
He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Richard and Danny.
He is survived by his wife, Zella, and daughter, Patti.
Memorial services will be held at Red Bank Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m.
The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m., followed by the service.
The family requests that donations be made to Chattanooga Community Kitchen, in lieu of flowers.
