Mollie Sewell
Mollie Mae Mitchell Sewell, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her residence.
She was employed by OLPH for 32 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Carrie Mitchell; siblings, Moses, Thomas, Vera, Willie, Charlie, and Sallie Mae.
Survivors include her daughter, Flora Sterling of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Donald (Jacqueline) Sterling, Sherwin Sterling, and Terrance (Kimberly) Sterling; nine great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Jan. 20, at noon at Olivet Baptist Church with Bishop Kevin Adams, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
