First Alum, First Woman Elected Chair Of The Chattanooga State Foundation

The Chattanooga State Foundation announced that Dr. Maricela Rodriguez, a Chattanooga State alumna and local dentist, is the new Foundation board chair and president. She will serve a two-year term.

Alan Cates is the immediate past chair and president. Additional officers include Edna Varner as vice-chair and chair-elect, John Germ as treasurer, Britt Tabor as assistant treasurer and Roberta Miles as secretary.

Newest board members include: Rowena Belcher, TVA retiree and community volunteer; Scott Mattice, senior vice president, Morgan Stanley; Reggie Piercy, senior vice president, Vision Hospitality; Keith Sanford, president and CEO, Tennessee Aquarium; Britt Tabor, chief financial officer, Erlanger Health System; and Tom White, senior vice president of Investor Relations, Unum.
