Patty Sue Layne, 65, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Layne was preceded in death by her father McKinley Curvin; brother, Landon Curvin; and sister, Ollie Frizzell.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harold Layne; mother, Dorothy Nunley Curvin; three children, Debbie (Danny) Chance, Judy Hughes, Jimmy (Jennifer) Layne all of Whitwell; two sisters, Jean Acuff and Cindy Cranmore of Jasper; two brothers, Herman Curvin, Randall Curvin of Whitwell; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Blake, Tyler, Brittany, Tiffany, Whitney, Brooke & Jackson; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, with Rev. Danny Chance and Rev. Kyle Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 1-8 p.m on Friday, January 20 at the Whitwell Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
