Shirley Ann Farmer, 54, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she has lived in the North Georgia area for the past 20 years and was a member of Rock Bridge Community Church Ringgold Campus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raybon Howard Farmer and Mary Frances Clemmons Watts; and brother, James Farmer.
She is survived by four children, David (Shannon) Farmer of Crawford, Tn., Michael (Latasha) Weaver of Flintstone, Billy Joe (Veallie) Weaver of Newnan, Ga., and Cherity Hope Farmer of Ringgold; two sisters, Vickey Parson of Ringgold, and Onnie Sams of Ringgold; two brothers, Tony Watts of Rossville, and Donald Farmer of Ringgold; step brother, Joey Messer of McDonough, Ga.; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Jan. 23, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor J.C. Groves officiating. Interment will follow at Woodstation Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
