Jackie Lynn Short, 59, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her father Auther Bell; father and mother in-law, Roy and Dorothy Short; and step-father, Jesse Bivens.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Danny Short Sr.; son, Danny Short Jr. of Rocky Face; mother, Barbara Bivens of Rossville; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorris Head of Dalton, Nancy Hefner of Dalton and Diane and Mark McMurray of Rossville; brother and sister in-law, Freddie and Phyllis Bell of Summerville; special aunt, Hazel Maton of Dalton; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Short will be held Saturday, January 21, at 2 p.m. at the Rocky Face Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy Bell officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
