Katherine Goode, 84, of Rising Fawn, Georgia, died Thursday evening January 19, 2017 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
She was a graduate of the Dade County High School Class of 1950 and retired from Buster Brown in Ider, AL in 1997. Ms. Goode was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Patrick Goode; parents H.G. and Velma Riddle Hawkins; and son David Wayne Goode.
Survivors include her sons Kenneth (April) Goode of Rising Fawn, GA, Jeffery (Jennifer) Goode of Jefferson, GA and Michael (Cathy) Goode of Clover, SC; daughter Collen (Van) Autry of Hixson, TN; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday January 22, in the chapel with Rev. Charles Edmonds officiating. Interment will follow in Beene Cemetery in Valley Head, AL.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 and 12-2 p.m. pm Sunday, January 22 at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, who has charge of the arrangements.
