Public Input Sought For Transmission System Environmental Review

The Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking public input on an environmental review of various vegetation management practices along its transmission line rights of way. TVA anticipates preparing an Environmental Impact Statement to study several alternative approaches.

A copy of the Notice of Intent is available on the TVA website at tva.com/nepa.

Public input is welcome on the issues and alternatives that should be considered.

Comments will be accepted through March 23, 2017. They may be submitted online at tva.com/nepa by selecting Transmission System Vegetation Management Program option;  mailed to Anita E. Masters, TVA, 1101 Market Street, BR 4A, Chattanooga, TN 37402, or emailed to Anita at aemasters@tva.com. All comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the public project administrative record.
