William C. Crowe, Jr., DNP, APRN, Medicine Service Line Administrator, Erlanger Health System, has been selected to receive the Society of Critical Care Medicine, (SCCM,) Presidential Citation Award.
The Society established the Presidential Citation Award in 1995 to honor members who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the organization. Dr. Crowe has dedicated time, energy, and resources to the SCCM throughout the past year, leading to this recognition.
Within Erlanger Health System, Dr.
Crowe oversees the adult hospitalist program at four facilities, pulmonary critical care, advanced practice, and correctional healthcare. In addition to his full time position as an administrator, he also serves as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and works collaboratively with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing as the AG-ACNP Concentration Coordinator. Dr. Crowe serves as the Chattanooga Site Coordinator and Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for the Southeast Chapter of the SCCM.
