Jim Hackney, 73, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on January 21, 2017.
Jim was a former iron worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Hackney and a sister, Faynette Cranmore.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Hackney and Jeff Hackney; three grandchildren, Cassidy, Caley, and Coy Hackney; a brother, Tom Hackney; three sisters, Dean McInturf, Phyllis Edwards and Sue Clonts along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in Ware Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
