Review for the artistis:
Inspired by the Art Nouveau Age, Loy Allen forms bright arrays of glass flora, insects, and birds which are set into metal bases. Her expressively-shaped works hang on walls or create standing sculptures.
D. Langford Kühn creates visual sanctuaries of nature through exquisite porcelain vases painted with underglaze. Each classically-thrown vessel is a one-of-a-kind depiction of her lush landscapes and wildlife experiences.
Exploring preserved natural settings allows Intaglio artist, Anna Marie Pavlik, to communicate emotional concern, value, and unique qualities of the environment in her work. Combining copper etched plates, ink, glue powder, and paper with uniquely-painted areas makes each hand-pressed print unique.
