John Holloway
John Richard Holloway, Sr., 79, of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away January 27, 2017 in a local hospice care center.
He was a graduate of Spring City High School, Class of 1956, a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church and the Disciples Sunday School Class and was retired from the Retail Grocery Business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Anne Holloway, daughter, Polly Johnson and brother, Jack Holloway.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Maxine Holloway, children, Cheryl (Bob) White, Brenda (Tom) Woods and John R. (Kristen) Holloway, Jr., brothers, Jim and Buddy Holloway, sister, Barbara McClendon, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with John Holloway, Jr., Rev. Brenda Woods and Reverend Eric Duble officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 3-8 p.m. and Monday, from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
