Millirons And Moncrief Join Pinnacle In Chattanooga

Charles Millirons Jr. and Jimmy Moncrief have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as senior vice presidents and financial advisors.

“We continue to attract the best and most knowledgeable financial professionals in the market,” said Ryan Murphy, Pinnacle’s Chattanooga area manager. “Charles’ and Jimmy’s reputations as trusted advisors will enable them to meet all of their clients’ needs.”

Mr. Millirons brings 29 years of financial services experience and most recently comes from SmartBank in Chattanooga, where he was a senior vice president. Previously he was with First Volunteer Bank (Marion Trust and Banking Company) in Jasper, Tn. and North Georgia Regional Development Center, where he served as a loan officer and senior planner.

Mr.  Millirons earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government/pre-law from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and his master’s degree in public administration and finance from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  

He is active in the community with Junior Achievement of Chattanooga, where he is a board member, education committee chairman, and classroom volunteer. Mr. Millirons serves on the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce small business and entrepreneurship committee and is a small business awards committee judge. He also is a board member and treasurer for the Scottish Rite of Chattanooga.

Mr. Moncrief, with 14 years of experience, comes to Pinnacle from Community National Bank in Soddy-Daisy, where he was a commercial lender. Previous roles included serving as a credit officer for Community Trust and Banking in Ooltewah, commercial and corporate credit analyst for First Tennessee Bank, and equity analyst at Templeton Capital.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Mr. Moncrief served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, where he was an intelligence analyst.

Mr. Millirons and Mr. Moncrief are based at Pinnacle’s Broad Street office in Chattanooga.
