Police Say 2 Gang Members Robbed Murphy Express On Lee Highway At Gunpoint

Police say two validated gang members robbed the Murphy Express on Lee Highway at gunpoint o Jan. 18.

Linzell Lamonta Richards, 18, of 3902 10th Ave., has been arrested for aggravated robbery.

Police say Terry Scott III was also involved.

Police said Richards is a member of the Skyline Piru street gang, while Scott is a member of the Athens Park Bloods.

The clerk said two black males entered the store. He said one was holding a revolver and the other a bag. He was told to "put all the money in the bag."

He complied and the pair fled with $318.03.

Police came up with possible suspects and identifications were made.
