James Bice

James L. Bice, 80, died on January 8, 2017.

He was a Church of God minister for 53 years. He was loved by many for his meek, gentle, kind spirit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Sarah Bice; brothers, Leon, Aaron and Ed Bice; sisters, Alma James and Judy Walker; great-granddaughter, Kambrie Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Higgins Bice; daughter, Lynn (Donnie) Angland; grandchildren, Shawndra Hall and Chad Condra; great-grandchildren, Dakota Condra, Makayla, Addison and Faith Hall; brothers, Bill, Don and Tom Bice; sisters, Tina Bailey and Elizabeth Eustice; brother-in-law, Gene Walkerseveral nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Nathan Eustice, Reverend Delbert Layne and Reverend Jeremy Robertson officiating.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home.

His daughter, Lynn who loved and cared for him so very much would like to thank Sharon Johnston and Janet Isbell for their loving care of her dad.

Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
