Tonya Anderson “T.A.” Cooke, 55, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday morning at Tennova Healthcare of Cleveland.  

Born on May 21, 1962, to the late John and Edna Wells Green Anderson, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and loved gardening, birdwatching, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Cody and Katie and father-in-law, Johnny Cooke.

Tonya is survived by her loving husband , Mike Cooke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar (Yvonne) Anderson of Cleveland, Mitchell (Dorotha) Anderson of McDonald, Jeff ( Cindy) Anderson of McDonald; mother-in-law, Louise E. Cooke of Cleveland; sister-in-law; Tammy  (Rusty) Arp of Cleveland; and  brother-in-law, Ricky (Connie) Cooke of Charleston.  Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

A  Celebration of Life and Home going for Tonya Anderson Cooke will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, from the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home.
