Lucille Watson, 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on October 7, 2017, with her loved ones by her side.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Clara McFarland; husband, Willie Watson, Jr.; daughter, Carol Stallings; grandsons, Sherrod Mason, III, and Eddie Kitchen, Jr.; son-in-law, Jeffrey White; brother-in-law, Larry Watson and sister-in-law, Helen Watson Spearman.

 

Cherishing her memories are four sons, Robert (Emma), Nathaniel, Willie and Rev. Johnny R. (Angela) Watson, Sr.; four daughters, Delores (Robert) Atkins; Clara Mason, Saundra White, and Alyce (Eddie) Kitchen; son-in-law, Curtis Stallings; 27 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friend Anne Greene.

 

The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their kindness and care.

 

Visitations will be on Thursday6-8 p.m. on John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 12:30 p.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 East Third Street with Reverend Johnny R. Watson, Sr. eulogist. Interment will immediately follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.  

 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lucille Watson to: Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Dr., Suite 22, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
