Edna Beatrice "Bea" Griffin Easley
Edna Beatrice "Bea" Griffin Easley, age 82, of Powder Springs, Ga. and formerly of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Easley; parents, Henry and Mary Betton Griffin; brothers, Henry Griffin, George Griffin, Joe Louis Griffin; and sisters, Charlotte Griffin Weaver, Esther Griffin Powell, and Agnes Stokes.
To stand now in the aftergolow of her life remains her loving son, James Christopher Easley; two grandsons, Jelani Easley and Jasai Easley and their mother, Angela Burris; two sisters, Mable Parker and Imogene (Ray) Burse; one brother, William (Mary) Griffin; sisters-in-law, Eloise Griffin and Marge Easley; brother-in-law, Charles Easley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A homegoing service will be held Friday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 165 Lemon St., N.E., Marietta, Ga. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
