Corey Antonio Boykin, Jr. passed away on October 8, 2017. 

 

He entered this life on Nov. 7, 1992. His birth brought joy to his parents, Corey and Lori, and to his grandparents who eagerly awaited his birth. Though this scholarly, talented young man’s stay on Earth was short, he made a tremendous impact on those he knew and loved him. 


Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, immediately followed by a home going service at noon in the chapel at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 37404. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens East.

Jimmy L. Trimm, 88, of Hixson, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. Jimmy was born on Aug. 7, 1930, in Cleveland, to the late James H. Trimm and Lilly Mae Burns Trimm. Man Fires At Woman Stealing His Car At Broad Street Raceway; Both End Up In Jail

Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on Friday evening after a person arrived with a gunshot wound.   The injured man told police he was shot on Thursday, Oct. 11.
