Mary Mikesell Benton died on Friday, October 13, 2017, in her home after a period of declining health.
She was born in South Bend, In., on June 4, 1920, to her parents, Raymond and Laura Mikesell. The family would like to thank Alexian Home Health Care and their associates for their many services, and also Hospice of Chattanooga.
Services for Mary will be on Thursday, Oct. 19, in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Ave., at 1 p.m.. The family will receive friends in the church connector foyer beginning at noon. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Mary may contribute to the World Missions outreach program at First Presbyterian, or to a charity of their choice.
