Covenant Baseball Wins 4-3 Over Elmira

 Alex Gonzalez hit his first collegiate home run and the Covenant baseball team's pitching staff held off Elmira for a 4-3 victory on Monday evening at the LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson. Covenant men's tennis senior Matthew Harvie was named the USA South Player of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 18, announced the conference on Monday. The honor is the fourth of the career for Harvie and he becomes the first Covenant men's tennis player this season to earn a weekly award from the conference. A federal magistrate in Knoxville has ordered former Pilot Travel Centers president Mark Hazelwood confined to his home pending sentencing in Chattanooga on June 27 on three felony convictions.
