CSAS Holds 5th Grade Civil War Scholars' Showcase

Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences' fifth grade students will celebrate the culmination of their first quarter Paideia Unit of Study by conducting the annual Civil War Scholars’ Showcase this Wednesday from 1:30-3 p.m. at the school, 865 East Third St., in the cafeteria on the first floor.

The Showcase provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned about the Civil War in American and all its facets.  During the Showcase, students will act as docents to guide their audience through their own personal museum.  Each student will have various items on display from across the curriculum, including an individualized piece of their own creation.
Student work includes a soldier’s journal, art pieces and costuming.
