Hughes, Agnes Marie (Graysville)

Agnes Marie Hughes, 92, formerly of Graysville, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017, at NHC Nursing Home in Hendersonville.

Agnes was born in Owensville, Ohio on August 8, 1925 the daughter of the late Geniah and Velma (Schwartz) Brown.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James R. Hughes, her son, Phillip Hughes, a sister, Virginia Ponchot and two brothers, Clarence Brown and Geniah Brown.

Agnes was a longtime resident of Graysville and worked at Robinson Manufacturing as an inspector until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Phillip) Forsythe of Hendersonville, son, Ronald (Kim) Hughes of Lakesite, six grandchildren, Christina Cornelius, Lauren Forsythe, Drew Forsythe, Brandon Hughes, Lori Dillingham, Casey Hughes, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Elaine (Eddie) Harris of Owensville, OH.

Graveside services for Agnes will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. at Pleasantview Cemetery. She will be laid to rest beside her husband with Reverend John Fields officiating.
