Global Luxury Real Estate Brand Enters Chattanooga

  • Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Engel & Völkers announced the opening of a new shop in the historic city of Chattanooga, marking the first Tennessee location for the global real estate brand. The newly established Engel & Völkers Chattanooga comes as the result of a partnership with local real estate powerhouse Bridge City Realty, and will be led by license partners Tonjia and Jeremy Landreth, two experienced real estate professionals with a combined 16 years serving the Chattanooga market. In addition to Ms. and Mr. Landreth, Engel & Völkers Chattanooga will be comprised of a team of 18 real estate advisors, who will service home buyers and sellers in Chattanooga and several neighboring counties.

“Chattanooga is becoming a major tech hub of the South, and as a result has seen a lot of urbanization and growth catapulting its real estate market,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “With companies like Amazon and Volkswagen establishing roots in the area, Chattanooga is one of the latest cities to receive a surge of interest from more affluent clientele and international real estate investors. We’re confident that Tonija and Jeremy, with their deep knowledge of the local market and proven success with Bridge City Realty, will be the ideal partners to establish the Engel & Völkers brand and best serve clientele in Chattanooga’s evolving real estate market.”

Located in the center of downtown, Engel & Völkers Chattanooga will serve those drawn to the area for its developing art scene, hillside landscapes and proximity to both the Smoky Mountains and to other metropolitan areas such as Atlanta and Nashville. Chattanooga also boasts the highest speed internet in the country, and as a result of which, has seen an increasing number of IT companies flocking to the area, bringing with them an influx of millennial talent to foster the burgeoning local community of technology startups.

“Demand is high in Chattanooga, with downtown properties rarely staying on the market for more than a few days,”  said Ms. Landreth, license partner, Engel & Völkers Chattanooga. “The Engel & Völkers brand brings standards of professionalism that are necessary in the current Chattanooga market and enable our agents to best accommodate our clients locally and abroad, whether buying or selling.”

Engel & Völkers operates a global network of brokerages in more than 30 countries spanning five continents. For more information, visit chattanooga.evusa.com.
