William Dean Baker, 88, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017
 
Mr. Baker was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving two years during the Korean War. He was retired from TVA after 30 years of service as an electrical engineer.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Jessie Denton Baker.
 
Survivors include several cousins, Helen Rankin and many other close friends.
 
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at Ami Cemetery in Menlo, Ga.
 
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge.
