Movie Premier Features Former McCallie Teacher

McCallie is hosting a free red carpet premier event on Wednesday for the upcoming movie, "Same Kind of Different as Me," produced for Paramount Pictures and Pure Flix by former McCallie Bible teacher, Darren Moorman (1990-1996).  

It is an inspirational true story based on the New York Times Bestseller of the same name by Ron Hall and Denver Moore.

The McCallie premier will be at AMC Chattanooga 18 Theatre (formerly East Ridge 18 or The Rave) at 7:30 p.m., with Mr. Moorman will make some opening comments.  

Mr. Moreman will also speak in Chapel Wednesday at 10:45 p.m. at McCallie School, to talk about the film in remarks to the students.
