Kohl Leads Signal Mountain Past CSAS In Region Soccer Final

Signal Mountain's Natasha Kohl scored two goals Thursday night in the Lady Eagles 3-1 win over CSAS in the region championship game.   Both teams will advance to sectional play on Saturday. 

Signal Led 2-0 at the half. 

Camilla Mincey scored Signal's other goal.   CSAS's Cyan Cox scored on a penalty kick in the second half.   Signal keeper Amanda Muschel was credited with three saves.

CSAS keeper Katie Alsobrooks had five saves and Katie Hopper had 11 saves. 

Signal Mountain will host East Robinson on Saturday at 3 p.m. and CSAS will travel to Merrol Hyde.  Only the winners of Saturday's games will qualify for state soccer quarterfinals which start on Wednesday in Murfreesboro.
