Loretta G. Welch, 99, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017. She was a life-long resident of Chattanooga and a member of the Fort Oglethorpe United Methodist Church. Loretta was a daughter of James and Mary Williamson Gamblin. She was a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Benjamin Welch in 1995.
Survivors include daughters, Carol (Bobby) Pemberton, Oldsmar, Fl., Elaine (Tim) Chomyn, Ringgold, Kathy (David) Tapp, Chickamauga and Teresa (Bruce) McBee, Marietta, Ga.; 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Debra Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
