Single Lane Of Mountain View Road To Be Closed For Resurfacing Feb. 26-March 5

A single lane will be closed on Mountain View Road between Snow Hill Road and Amos Road starting  Monday, Feb. 26, at 7 a.m.  until  Monday, March 5, for resurfacing work. Firefighters Begin 2018 With Donation To Training Center

The Chattanooga Fire Department will soon offer firefighters an in-depth training opportunity to practice confined space rescue and recovery.  BASF  in Chattanooga recently donated a large, stainless steel tank that will be used to conduct training scenarios which closely mimic a real-life confined space emergency. Jamichael Eddins, 24, Killed, Randall Davenport, 28, Injured In Shooting On Carousel Road; Suspect Is Arrested

Jamichael Eddins, 24, was killed, and Randall Davenport, 28, was injured in a shooting on Tuesday afternoon.   Chattanooga Police were called at 5:25 p.m. to the 1400 block of Carousel Road on reports of two people who had been shot. City Council Approves TIF For Extension Of MLK Boulevard To The Riverwalk

The City Council voted Tuesday to approve Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to extend MLK Boulevard across Riverfront Parkway to the Blue Goose Hollow Trailhead at the Riverwalk.
