Dalton State Women's Golf Leads By 3 After First Round At Nob North

Dalton State (+14, 301), leads #1 SCAD-Savannah, (+17, 305), by three strokes after the first round of the Roadrunner Women's Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Varnell, Ga.

#8 William Carey (Miss.) and #12 Keiser are tied for third after rounds of (+26, 314). #18 Southeastern (Fla.), (+30, 318), rounded out the top five.

All-American Tia Teiniketo led the way for the Roadrunners, firing an (E, 72) and sits alone in first. Fellow All-American Caroline Griffin joined her in the top 5 after a round of (+2, 74).

All-American Isabel Rijos and Hannah Gasaway posted matching scores of (+6, 78) to share the 14th spot on the leaderboard.
All-American Heather Nail carded a (+7, 79) as the fifth team score for the #2 Lady Roadrunners.

Sophomore Haejin Choe also showed her impressive talent, firing a (+5, 77) as an individual.

The #2 Lady Roadrunners will finish out the fall season tomorrow, October 24, in the final round of the Roadrunner Women's Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Varnell, Ga.
