Ralph J."RJ" Martin, 84, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, and a former resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the family residence.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Martin was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George R. Martin and Dorothy Rhodes Martin; his daughter, Katherine R. Martin; two sisters, Susan Ferguson and Holly and also a brother, Robert Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Martin of Cleveland; three children, Jennifer Martin of Houston, Texas, Keith Martin of Houston, Texas, Candace Davis of Austin, Texas; three step children, Susan Coleman (Todd), of Symrna, TN, Katherine Stewart (Don) of Winchester, KY, and John Blackburn (Amy) of Frankfort, TN; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
