Mary Rector, 89, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed way on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Mary was of Baptist faith and loved to play bingo and had worked at the Pirate Restaurant for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy Dalton and Mary Jane Crowe; husband, John Edward Rector; son, John Wayne Rector; brothers, Roy, Tom, J.L and Ben Dalton; and sisters, Rebecca Dalton and Ruth Reynolds.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lynda (David) Smith; step-son, Roger Rector; sisters, Ruby Holder, Louise (Kenny) Degast, Bannie McCloud, Mary Ann Williams; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. CST until time of services at 2 p.m. CST.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. CST with Bro. Nunley officiating.
Interment will follow to Cumberland View Cemetery.
