Lee Alumni Baseball Game Set For Nov. 3rd

The annual Lee Alumni Game and Home Run Derby are scheduled for Nov. 3rd (Homecoming weekend) at Olympic Field. The Home Run Derby is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start, followed by the first pitch for the Alumni Game at 3.
 
The baseball team is currently selling old "game worn" jerseys and will have those on sale at the alumni event. Please contact coach Mark Brew at mbrew@leeuniversity.edu or 423-614-8638 to secure your jersey and to RSVP for the alumni festivities. 
 
"We are always excited to get our former players on campus during homecoming weekend.
  It's awesome to catch up with each one and see how life has changed with families, jobs, and other life events," said head coach Mark Brew, who enters his 12th season as skipper of the Flames and has won over 500 career games. "It's one of the highlights of the fall and is a great opportunity for our team to interact with those that laid the ground work for where the program is now."

Juvenile Girl Who Was Shot On Doolittle Street Early Sunday Morning Has Critical Injuries

A juvenile girl who was shot early Sunday morning on Doolittle Street was in critical condition. Chattanooga Police responded at approximately 12:55 a.m. on to a person shot on the 2500 block of Doolittle Street.   Police were able to make contact with the victim at a local hospital where she was suffering from a critical, but non-life threatening gunshot wound.
