Southern Adventist University Volunteers Will Hand Pack 100,000 Life-Saving Meals

  • Thursday, October 26, 2017

More than 500 alumni, students, employees, and friends of Southern Adventist University will rally on Nov. 5 to be part of the global hunger solution through a partnership with nonprofit Feed My Starving Children. This will be the first FMSC MobilePack event held in the greater Chattanooga area.

Over the course of approximately five hours, volunteers will prepare 100,000+ ready-to-cook meals to help prevent and reverse malnutrition. Some of the meals packed at Southern may be sent to the islands devastated by recent hurricanes, where FMSC has ongoing partnerships.
