Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga has launched a refreshment cart focused on parents staying with their children hospitalized at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. A volunteer-operated cart provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga visits parents of hospitalized children twice daily offering refreshments, toiletries, magazines and puzzle books to help enhance their stay.
Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House President and CEO Jane Kaylor will join past RMHC family and Hospitality a la Carte donor Daniel and Tayler Orr in celebration of the launch of Hospitality a la Carte at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, 910 Blackford St.
The Hospitality a la Carte has been in “test” mode for the past two weeks receiving only positive responses, officials said. The Carte requires a minimum of two volunteers to operate it twice daily.
