Richard Foote
Richard "Dick" Carl Foote, 70, of Decatur, Tn., passed away on October 1, 2017.
He was born on July 8, 1947 to the late William Carl and Ruby Elsie Foote. Dick, or "Rabbit" as many knew him, was a lifelong resident of this area. He loved Hot Rods and always loved a nice car.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Sally and Eway Bowman and one infant sister.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Foote; sisters: Edwina Morrow, Mary Lee Stokes, Beverly Chandler, Carlene Carter, and Rene Harris; brothers, Roy Allison and Robert Foote. In addition to these he leaves behind grandchildren and extended family members and friends.
The family will recieve friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Companion Funeral Home at 2419 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home with visitation for an hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Grasshopper Cemetery following the service.
