Bus Driver In Tragic Woodmore Crash Released From Jail On Bond

The bus driver in the tragic Woodmore Elementary school bus wreck was released from jail on bond on Wednesday morning.

Judge Don Poole recently cut the bond for Johnthony Walker from $107,000 to $50,000.

His trial date is set for Feb. 20.

Six students died in the crash on Talley Road in Brainerd last Nov. 21.

Walker faces 34 charges, including six counts of vehicular homicide.

A motion date in the case will be Dec. 12.
