ITA World Tennis: Webb, Bartlett Post Victories for Great Britain

Representing Great Britain, Chattanooga area teaching pros Sue Webb and Sue Bartlett posted singles wins Monday to help the women’s 55s team to a 3-0 win against Estonia at the ITA Senior World Tennis Championships in Miami, Fla.

Sunday, Bartlett won in singles and Webb won in doubles as Great Britain defeated Ireland, 3-0.

No.4 Great Britain faces No.8 Argentina on Tuesday.

Mexico 2, USA 1: In the Men’s 55s, Wesley Cash and Ross Persons  won in doubles, but Mexico won both singles matches.

The American team plays Brazil Tuesday.
