Sullivan, Barbara Gail Waters (Whitwell)

Barbara Gail Waters Sullivan, 68, of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Clay “Pete” and Joyce June Waters; sister, Martha Waters; brothers, Cecil Waters, Charles Waters and Marvin Ray Waters. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her companion Charles Wyman Griffith; three sons, Ricky (Rita) Waters, Terry (Karen) Sullivan and Jason (Christy) Sullivan; sisters, Mildred Stephens, Alma Green, Peggy Hamilton, Frankie Maxwell, Kay Ross and Janice Watts; brothers, Bruce Waters and Randy Waters; grandchildren, Billy Ray, Terry Alan, Cecilia, Jordyn and Jadyn; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

Family will receive friends noon-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 in the funeral home chapel with 
Rev. Eddie Griffith, Rev. Doyle Chamblee and Rev. Roy Terry officiating.  Interment at Hudson Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers are Terry Sullivan, Aaron Long, Tim Waters, Jamie Waters, Shawn Bowman, Stanley Long and Jason Sullivan.

Santore, Rosa Lee (Cleveland)

Rosa Lee Santore, 91, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, in a local health care facility.   She was born on Sept. 26, 1927, in Gumboro, De., to Camillo and Palma Borgia.   She was a member of Ladd Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She loved her Lord and her family and will be greatly missed by both her family and friends. David Lawrence McKenzie,  of Signal Mountain, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018.  David was born in Chattanooga to James E. Proud submarine veteran, James 'Al' Smith died on October 11, 2018, in Hixson. He served on the USS Carbonero and USS Cochino. The Carbonero completed two patrols in World War II.
