Linda Layman
Linda Ann Davis Layman, 73, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
She was an active member of the former Clifton Hills Baptist Church where she played piano and organ and where her father was the pastor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Clifford and Virginia Cooper Davis.
Survivors include her son, Lt. Col. Ret. Steven M. (Chalisse) Layman; daughter, Patricia L. (Wes) Aymon; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Janice (Don) Miller; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Davis and Jerry (Marilyn) Davis; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jenny Anderson and her staff of nurses and CNAs at Life Care Center of East Ridge for their loving care and concern.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge with the Reverend Roger Keys officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
