HCDE Superintendent Shares Goals With Hamilton Place Rotary

Rotary Club of Chattanooga Hamilton Place hosted Dr. Bryan Johnson, superintendent of the Hamilton County Department of Education, as their featured speaker this week. 

Dr. Johnson shared his vision and plans for the county school system.  He said his goal is to ensure that every student is post secondary ready.  

The club also added two members at their meeting.

Rotary Club of Chattanooga Hamilton Place hosted Sean McDaniel, president and general manager of the new Chattanooga pro soccer team, Chattanooga Red Wolves.  Mr. McDaniel started playing soccer when he was six years old in Florida and grew up watching the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Man Fires At Woman Stealing His Car At Broad Street Raceway; Both End Up In Jail

A man had his car stolen at the Raceway on South Broad Street on Sunday night and both he and the car thief wound up in jail.   Police said they charged Donald Kenyatta Domino, 23, of 747 E. Chattanooga Police Investigating Shooting That Victim Says Happened A Week Ago

Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on Friday evening after a person arrived with a gunshot wound.   The injured man told police he was shot on Thursday, Oct. 11.
