Neal Henry Cornelius Vann, Jr., 92, of Trenton, died Thursday morning, Oct. 5, 2017. He was retired form Advanced Intelligence Development in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. after 10 years of service. Mr. Vann was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in the 82 Airborne division. He was a member of the Rising Fawn Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Elizabeth Ann Vann; 2 sons Johnny Vann and Burt Vann.
Surviving include son Neal (Ethel) Vann, III of Owings, Md.; daughter Roxie Vann Pelliccia of Hollywood, Fl.; daughter Rosalie (Joe) Vann Newell of Taylors, SC; daughter Sandra Vann of Reddick, Fl.; step-son Bill Moore of Sanford, Fl.; step-son Patrick Poland of Margate, Fl; step-son John Poland of Kansas City, Mo.; half-brother Kenny Vann; step-brothers Norman Desha and Larry Desha; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Rising Fawn Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the Rising Fawn Baptist Church. Interment will be private.
