Miss Chattanooga, Miss Scenic City And Miss Tennessee Valley To Be Crowned Oct. 22

The Scenic City Pageants organization will present The Miss Chattanooga, Miss Scenic City, and Miss Tennessee Valley 2018 Scholarship Pageant, taking place at Chattanooga State Community College Auditorium on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 4 p.m. and featuring emcee, Chandler Lawson, Miss Tennessee 2012 and performer, Stefanie Wittler, Miss Tennessee 2009.  

The pageant will crown three new titleholders (Miss Chattanooga, Miss Scenic City, and Miss Tennessee Valley) that will go on to compete at the Miss Tennessee Scholarship pageant in June.  

Tickets will be available for purchase at the venue the day of the pageant.

U.S. Congressional District 3 Forum Scheduled For Monday Is Canceled

The candidate forum for U.S. Congressional District 3 scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22, has been canceled. A Soddy Daisy ROTC instructor has denied having a gun in a road rage incident with a 17-year-old girl at Northgate Mall, but General Sessions Court Judge Gary Starnes bound the case to the Grand Jury. Federal Judge In Nashville Tells State To Halt Suspension Of Drivers Licenses Of Those Who Cannot Pay
