Grace Kellogg
Grace Kellogg was born August 2, 1931, in Englewood (Denver), Colorado, and passed away on October 8, 2017, during a rehab stay at Life Care of Ooltewah, Tn.
She was a loving pastor's wife, a friend to many, and was most recently a member of People's Baptist Church in Rossville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald Kellogg, one daughter, Becky, two sons, David and Jim Kellogg, her parents, Henry and Adaline Herzog, and a brother, Johnny, who was a bomber pilot killed in World War II.
She is survived by one son, Stephen (Cindy) Kellogg, of Chattanooga, and one daughter, Kim Franz, of Omaha, Ne., eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Edna Herzog of Denver, and Elsie (Carl) Boonstra, of Springfield. Mo.
A Celebration of Grace’s life will be held in the east chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. with her son Stephen officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5–8 p.m.
Burial will be in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideon's International, in honor of her unfailing and ever-faithful love for God's Word, The Bible.
