Hester, Bessie Peppers Goodwin (LaFayette)

Bessie Peppers Goodwin Hester, 102, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

She was born on July 3, 1915, to the late Tom and Daisy Perry Peppers and is a member of the LaFayette Church of Christ.

Bessie was preceded in death by her first husband Charlie Goodwin; sisters, Lena Ruth Peppers and Margaret Peppers; brothers, Charles Peppers and Robert (Pep) Peppers.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Pruitt Health at Shepherd Hills for their many years of care.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m. in the LaFayette City Cemetery with Minister David Paden officiating.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
