The Buz Standefer Lung Center at CHI Memorial welcomes Asad Javed, M.D.

Dr. Javed received his medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.  He is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Javed joins Carlos Baleeiro, M.D.; Krish Bhadra, M.D.; Catherine Martinez, M.D.; Nathan Mull, IV, M.D.; Chad Paxson, D.O.; Hisham Qutob, M.D.; Pamela Sud, M.D.; Kristen Wright-Miranda, AG-ACNP-BC; and Bjorn Spoon, PA-C at Buz Stander Lung Center. CHI Memorial’s mobile health coach will provide mammography screenings at the Marion County Health Department on Tuesday, Jan. 23 and Thursday, Feb. 8.  Appointments are available between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. CST both days.
