James Marion Brown, 75, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in an area hospital.
Mr. Brown retired from U.S. Pipe after 31 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bessie Brown; sister, Jeanne Smith.
Survivors include his son, Mike (Dawn) Brown of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Teresa (Eric) Strecker; brother, Wayne Brown, all of Soddy Daisy; sisters Joyce Pickett, of Soddy Daisy, Susie Russell, of Rossville and Peggy Price of Birchwood; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Calvin Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
