Debra Lynne Slatton, 57, Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017. Debra was a lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe and had attended Lakeview First Baptist Church. She was born in Chattanooga on Feb. 20, 1960 to the late Edward and Agnes Keith. Debra retired from Olan Mills after 32 years of service. She was an avid quilter, enjoyed traveling, and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Survivors are her beloved husband of 38 years, Steve Slatton; sons, Bryan (Shelley) Slatton, Fort Oglethorpe, Daniel (Emily) Slatton, Ringgold; daughter, Jennifer (Paul) Hilgen, Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Ronnie Keith, Soddy Daisy; sisters, Carolyn Howard, Lookout Mountain, Patricia Marsh, Chattanooga, and Jane Keith, Soddy Daisy; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev Patrick Cooper and Rev Richard Howard officiating.
