Glen T. Bailey, Mr. “T”, died on November 13, 2017.
 
Glen was employed by the City of Chattanooga and self-employed for 15 years at Bailey’s Tire where he serviced many of the community tire needs. He was affectionately known as Mr. “T” in the community.
 
He is survived by his sisters, Maggie Bailey, Mary Bailey, Martha Harris and Will R (Carol) Bailey; sisters-in-law, Alice Bailey, Pearl Bailey all of Lynchburg, Tn., Maria Bailey, Jean McIntire and Catherine Bailey, all of Chattanooga, special and devoted caregiver sister, Mary, sons, Glen T. Bailey Jr., Ernest Gilbert, Eric Gilbert and Jeffery Gilbert, all of Chattanooga, daughters, Carol Pilcher and Weinshana Bailey, all of Chattanooga, Mildred Taylor, Pamela Stearns and Wanda Taylor, 29 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. 

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Lane, A'Reeyon

A’Reeyon Lane, 18, passed away on September 29, 2018, in Chattanooga.   The body will lie in state beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.    Arrangements are by John P. Ivey, James Michael "Mike" (Rock Spring)

James Michael "Mike" Ivey, 71, of Rock Spring, Georgia, left this world all too soon after a brief illness.  Mike was a sergeant in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was instrumental in bringing digital claim technology to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee before later retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Donald (Don) Coy Douglas, age 72, of Dalton, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Coy Douglas; and mother, Bertha Jo Douglas. Chattanooga Police Investigating Shooting That Victim Says Happened A Week Ago

Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on Friday evening after a person arrived with a gunshot wound.   The injured man told police he was shot on Thursday, Oct. 11.
