Catherine Mary Warden Walker age 89, of LaFayette, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. She was born in New Port, Kentucky and had resided in Knoxville and Maryville, TN before moving to LaFayette, Georgia. She was a former employee of Carron Mills in LaFayette, GA. She was a member of Everett Baptist Church in Maryville, Tn. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles as a pass time.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Alvin Edward Walker; daughter: Diana Kay Walker; brother: William James Warden; grandson: Alvin Edward Walker; and granddaughter: Lisa Ann Walker.
She is survived by her son: James Barren Walker Sr., of LaFayette; sister: Thelma Ryan of Knoxville; Daniel Warden of Los Angeles, Ca.; grandchildren: James Barren (Jennifer) Walker Jr., Jason S. (Sabrina) Walker, Kimberly Gail (Fred) Currie; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, Tn. at a later date.
